Legal Documentation
Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies, service contexts, browser controls and privacy choices.
This Cookie Policy explains how Good Ground Serves LLC, the legal provider of its flagship SiteHeros product and service (“SiteHeros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies (“Technologies”) on SiteHeros websites and online services.
1. What Technologies do
Technologies may store or read information on a browser or device. They can support security, remember settings, measure performance, understand use, connect forms and accounts, attribute marketing, or enable third-party content.
Some Technologies operate only for a session; others remain until they expire or are deleted. First-party Technologies are set by the SiteHeros domain. Third-party Technologies are set or read by another provider.
2. Categories
Strictly necessary
These support functions requested by the user or required to operate securely, such as session management, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent preferences, form routing, authentication, checkout and account security. Blocking them can prevent the requested function from working.
Functional
These remember choices or enable enhanced features, such as language, saved settings, embedded support, or personalization. Disabling them may reduce functionality.
Analytics and performance
Analytics technologies can measure traffic, navigation, errors, load time, campaigns and feature use. The WPMU DEV Dashboard analytics integration on SiteHeros.com is temporarily disabled. Availability and use of another technology depend on the page, feature, service and verified configuration.
Advertising and targeting
Advertising technologies may measure advertisements, build audiences or track activity across services. The existence of this category is not a statement that SiteHeros currently uses it. Required notice, consent and opt-out rules apply before a covered activity.
Embedded and third-party content
Videos, maps, fonts, scheduling, forms, social media, payment and other embedded services may use technologies when loaded. Non-essential third-party content is subject to applicable consent and privacy-choice requirements.
3. Consent and preference choices
The WPMU DEV Dashboard analytics integration on SiteHeros.com is temporarily disabled. Before enabling non-essential Technologies where prior consent is required, we will provide the applicable information and choice and keep those Technologies off until an affirmative choice is recorded.
Where required, consent choices must provide equally prominent acceptance and rejection, no preselected non-essential categories, category information, appropriate evidence of the choice, and a way to withdraw or change it. A material change to a consent-dependent purpose, provider or retention period requires renewed choice where the law requires it.
Where an opt-out model applies, the legally required notice, choice and recognized universal opt-out signals must be supported before covered processing begins.
4. Technologies and service context
Technologies you encounter depend on the functions you use. These categories describe possible functions, not a representation that every named provider operates on every page:
- WordPress and hosting services may use session, security, preference and login technologies.
- Payment-provider pages may use payment-session and fraud-prevention technologies when you enter their checkout.
- Analytics integrations may use cookies or tags when separately enabled; the WPMU DEV Dashboard analytics integration on SiteHeros.com is temporarily disabled.
- Forms, embedded content, security and anti-spam functions may use session or technical identifiers.
For information about technologies associated with a particular page or service, contact legal@siteheros.com. Identify the page, service and browser or device; do not send account passwords or sensitive data.
5. Browser controls
Browsers allow users to delete or block Technologies. Blocking strictly necessary Technologies may prevent forms, login, checkout, preferences, or other functions. Browser controls do not replace a required site preference mechanism.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
“Do Not Track” is not governed by a uniform standard. Legally recognized universal opt-out signals apply to covered browsers, devices and practices where required. For questions about an applicable privacy choice, contact legal@siteheros.com.
7. Third-party responsibility
Third parties may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. SiteHeros does not control a third party’s independent practices. The Privacy Policy explains relevant recipient categories; service-specific data-processing information is available at legal@siteheros.com.
For WPMU DEV hosted features and components, see the Incsub Privacy Policy and WPMU DEV Product Privacy Documentation. Other contextual provider references appear in the Website Disclaimer. These external sources describe the providers’ products; they do not replace information and choices required for Technologies actually used on SiteHeros services.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy as Technologies, providers, purposes, or laws change. The page will show the effective date and version. Material consent-dependent changes will trigger renewed consent where required.
