2. Scope of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all SiteHeros services, including managed WordPress hosting, domain registration and domain-related services, DNS services where applicable, client portal access, hosting dashboard access, website management tools, website design services, website development services, website maintenance services, Elite Management services, add-on services, one-off services, development-on-demand services, support resources, community or forum resources where applicable, and any other service, tool, product, subscription, or platform access provided under the SiteHeros brand.
This policy applies to clients, account owners, authorized users, administrators, contractors, collaborators, representatives, and anyone using SiteHeros services through your account or website.
3. General Use Requirements
You agree to use SiteHeros services only for lawful, safe, authorized, and legitimate purposes.
You are responsible for:
- The content hosted on your website
- The activity that occurs under your account
- The conduct of authorized users
- The security of your credentials
- The tools, plugins, themes, and scripts installed on your website
- Your websiteโs compliance with applicable laws
- Your websiteโs privacy and visitor disclosures
- Your business practices
- Your domain, DNS, and email-related activity
- Your use of SiteHeros support and client portal tools
You must not use SiteHeros services in any way that harms SiteHeros, other clients, service providers, website visitors, third parties, infrastructure, networks, systems, reputation, security, or operations.
4. Prohibited Illegal Activity
You may not use SiteHeros services for illegal activity or to promote, facilitate, conceal, or support illegal activity.
Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to:
- Hosting illegal content
- Selling illegal goods or services
- Facilitating fraud, theft, identity theft, or credential theft
- Facilitating unauthorized access
- Facilitating financial scams
- Hosting or distributing stolen data
- Violating sanctions or export control laws
- Violating consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property, or child protection laws
- Violating applicable advertising laws
- Violating industry-specific laws that apply to your business
SiteHeros may suspend or terminate services immediately if we believe your website, account, domain, or activity is unlawful or creates legal, provider, operational, security, or reputational risk.
5. Malware, Phishing, and Security Abuse
You may not use SiteHeros services to create, host, distribute, link to, support, or conceal malware, phishing, credential theft, unauthorized access, or security abuse.
Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to:
- Malware, ransomware, viruses, trojans, spyware, keyloggers, backdoors, or botnets
- Phishing pages, credential harvesting, or fake login pages
- Unauthorized vulnerability scanning or penetration testing
- Exploit kits, malicious redirects, malicious file hosting, or drive-by downloads
- Command-and-control infrastructure
- Unauthorized access attempts or security bypass attempts
- Brute-force attacks or distributed denial-of-service activity
- Attempts to compromise other websites, servers, accounts, or systems
You are responsible for promptly addressing security issues on your website, including compromised administrator accounts, vulnerable plugins, unsafe themes, malware infections, unauthorized code, or suspicious activity.
SiteHeros may remove files, disable scripts, suspend services, restrict access, quarantine websites, or take corrective action if security abuse is suspected.
6. Spam, Email Abuse, and Messaging Abuse
You may not use SiteHeros services to send, host, support, or facilitate spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or abusive communications.
Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email
- Sending spam through website forms
- Hosting spam landing pages or operating spam campaigns
- Using compromised forms or scripts to send spam
- Sending phishing emails or deceptive commercial messages
- Using misleading email headers
- Using purchased, scraped, or unauthorized email lists
- Violating email marketing laws or anti-spam rules
- Causing email reputation harm
- Using SiteHeros infrastructure to support abusive messaging
If your website sends email through forms, plugins, marketing tools, membership tools, ecommerce tools, or other systems, you are responsible for ensuring that those messages comply with applicable law and provider rules.
SiteHeros may restrict email functionality, disable forms, suspend scripts, require secure email tools, or suspend services if spam or messaging abuse is detected.
7. Resource Abuse and Platform Interference
You may not use SiteHeros services in a way that excessively consumes resources, interferes with platform stability, harms other clients, or creates abnormal operational burden.
Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to excessive CPU usage, memory usage, disk usage, database load, cron activity, bot traffic, API requests, unoptimized scripts, large-scale file storage unrelated to website operation, long-term backup repositories unless approved, unrelated media libraries or download repositories, cryptocurrency mining, proxy services, traffic exchange systems, automated scraping, unauthorized crawlers, mass account creation, abusive automation, denial-of-service activity, or activities that degrade platform performance.
SiteHeros may require you to optimize your website, upgrade your plan, reduce usage, disable problematic features, remove files, change plugins, adjust configurations, or take other corrective action.
If resource abuse creates immediate risk, SiteHeros may suspend or restrict services without advance notice.
8. Intellectual Property and Infringing Content
You may not use SiteHeros services to infringe intellectual property rights.
Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to:
- Hosting pirated software or pirated media
- Distributing copyrighted materials without permission
- Using trademarks without authorization
- Selling counterfeit goods
- Copying another website without permission
- Using images, fonts, videos, music, code, templates, or assets without proper rights
- Removing copyright notices unlawfully
- Circumventing license restrictions
- Using nulled plugins or nulled themes
- Distributing cracked software
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations for all content, assets, software, plugins, themes, media, code, and materials used on your website.
SiteHeros may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content, suspend services, or terminate accounts where appropriate.
9. Fraud, Deceptive Practices, and Impersonation
You may not use SiteHeros services for fraud, deception, impersonation, or misleading practices.
Prohibited activity includes impersonating another person or business, misrepresenting your identity or services, operating fake support portals, fake payment pages, or fake login pages, misleading users about affiliation or endorsement, financial scams, investment scams, fake charities, fake invoices, fake renewal notices, misleading domain notices, deceptive checkout flows, false advertising, misleading testimonials, fraudulent lead generation, misleading use of logos or trademarks, or concealing ownership to avoid accountability.
SiteHeros may suspend or terminate services if your website, domain, account, or activity appears fraudulent, deceptive, or likely to harm users.
10. Harmful, Abusive, or High-Risk Content
You may not use SiteHeros services to host or promote content that creates serious harm, abuse, exploitation, or unacceptable risk.
Prohibited or restricted content may include child sexual abuse material or exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, threats of violence, harassment campaigns, doxxing, stalking, content used to coordinate harm, content encouraging self-harm or suicide, content promoting terrorism or violent extremism where unlawful or prohibited by providers, content that incites unlawful violence, content that facilitates human trafficking or exploitation, content that endangers minors, or content that violates applicable law or provider requirements.
SiteHeros may report suspected illegal or exploitative content to appropriate authorities or providers when legally required or appropriate.
11. Regulated, Restricted, and Sensitive Activities
Some industries and activities involve higher legal, compliance, payment, provider, privacy, safety, or operational risk.
SiteHeros may decline, restrict, require additional review, or terminate services for websites involving:
- Financial services, investment advice, cryptocurrency, or token offerings
- Gambling, adult content, weapons, controlled substances, or regulated products
- Supplements or medical claims
- Healthcare, legal, insurance, or financial services
- Education or student data
- Childcare or minor-related data
- Political fundraising or campaigns
- High-risk ecommerce
- Sensitive personal data
- User-generated content at scale
- Marketplaces or membership communities with sensitive data
- Other high-risk services
SiteHeros does not provide legal, tax, medical, financial, accounting, insurance, or regulated professional advice.
Clients are responsible for determining whether their business requires special compliance steps, privacy notices, licenses, disclosures, accessibility obligations, consent systems, age gates, recordkeeping, security controls, or legal review.
12. Domain and DNS Abuse
You may not use SiteHeros domain, DNS, hosting, or related services for abusive or unlawful domain activity.
Prohibited activity includes domain phishing, typosquatting, domain fraud, DNS abuse, malware distribution, botnet support, spam operations, fast-flux hosting, credential theft, misleading domain registration, use of domains for illegal activity, abuse of DNS records, impersonation through domain names, or violation of registrar, registry, ICANN, or provider rules.
Domain services may be subject to registrar, registry, ICANN, reseller, and provider requirements.
SiteHeros may suspend, lock, cancel, restrict, or refuse domain-related services if domain abuse is suspected or required by a provider, registrar, registry, or legal authority.
13. Client Portal and Account Abuse
You may not misuse SiteHeros client portal, billing tools, dashboard tools, support tools, or account systems.
Prohibited activity includes sharing access with unauthorized users, attempting to access another clientโs account, circumventing permissions, creating fake accounts, using false billing information, attempting payment fraud, attempting to bypass checkout, attempting to avoid billing, scraping portal data, reverse engineering portal features, uploading malicious files, abusing support forms, misusing client dashboard tools, interfering with platform operation, or attempting to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for ensuring that authorized users follow this policy.
14. WordPress, Plugin, Theme, and Code Responsibilities
Because SiteHeros provides managed WordPress services, clients are responsible for using safe, lawful, and properly licensed WordPress software and website code.
You may not install, upload, request, or use nulled plugins, nulled themes, pirated software, malicious code, vulnerable abandoned plugins where avoidable, unauthorized tracking scripts, hidden redirects, doorway pages, cloaking scripts, spam scripts, resource-abusive scripts, code designed to bypass security, code that violates third-party rights, or code that violates laws or provider policies.
SiteHeros may remove, disable, or refuse to support plugins, themes, scripts, or code that create risk, instability, security issues, licensing issues, or platform harm.
SiteHeros may recommend or require safer alternatives where appropriate.
15. Data, Privacy, and Visitor Rights
You are responsible for your own websiteโs privacy, data protection, cookie, consent, accessibility, and visitor disclosure obligations.
Depending on your website, this may include a Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, cookie consent banner, Terms of Service, Accessibility Statement, data processing agreements, email marketing compliance, form consent language, analytics disclosures, ecommerce disclosures, age-related disclosures, student, childcare, healthcare, financial, nonprofit, or regulated-industry disclosures.
You may not use SiteHeros services to unlawfully collect, process, sell, share, expose, or misuse personal information.
You may not upload or process sensitive data through SiteHeros services unless your plan, configuration, security measures, and legal obligations properly support that use.
SiteHeros may decline to host or support websites that create unacceptable privacy, security, or compliance risk.
16. Support Abuse and Misuse of SiteHeros Services
SiteHeros aims to provide professional, helpful support. You may not abuse SiteHeros support, service channels, staff, contractors, systems, or workflows.
Prohibited behavior includes harassment, threats, abusive language, discriminatory abuse, repeated bad-faith requests, attempts to obtain free work outside scope, misrepresentation of issues, refusal to provide required access while demanding resolution, excessive duplicate requests, abusive chargeback threats, attempts to bypass service limits, requests for unlawful or unsafe work, requests to hide prohibited activity, or attempts to pressure SiteHeros into violating law or provider rules.
SiteHeros may limit support, require written communication, pause work, refuse requests, or terminate services for abusive conduct.
17. Resale, Unauthorized Access, and Misrepresentation
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or provide access to SiteHeros services unless SiteHeros has expressly authorized you in writing.
You may not present yourself as SiteHeros, present SiteHeros services as your own infrastructure without permission, resell SiteHeros hosting without authorization, grant unauthorized third-party access, use SiteHeros tools for unrelated client work without permission, misrepresent SiteHeros support, infrastructure, pricing, or service scope, or use SiteHeros services to operate a competing abusive or unauthorized reseller service.
SiteHeros may provide certain white-labeled services, client portal tools, or managed platform features to clients, but this does not grant resale rights unless specifically agreed in writing.
18. Monitoring and Enforcement
SiteHeros may monitor, review, investigate, restrict, or take action when needed to protect platform integrity, security, clients, providers, legal compliance, or business operations.
SiteHeros may investigate abuse reports, security alerts, provider notices, payment disputes, resource usage alerts, spam complaints, malware reports, domain abuse reports, legal notices, suspicious account activity, policy violations, support misuse, and third-party complaints.
SiteHeros is not obligated to monitor all content or activity but may take action when issues are discovered.
19. Suspension, Removal, or Termination
SiteHeros may take corrective action if this Acceptable Use Policy is violated or if SiteHeros believes action is needed to prevent harm.
Corrective action may include warning the client, requesting changes, disabling plugins or scripts, removing harmful files, restricting access, suspending hosting, suspending domain services, suspending client portal access, suspending support, blocking traffic, quarantining a website, requiring a plan upgrade, requiring cleanup or remediation, reporting abuse to providers or authorities where appropriate, or terminating services.
SiteHeros may act without advance notice where immediate action is needed to protect security, infrastructure, providers, other clients, website visitors, or legal compliance.
Clients remain responsible for amounts due even if services are suspended or terminated for policy violations.

Abuse reports should include as much detail as possible, such as website URL, domain name, description of the issue, screenshots if available, relevant dates and times, evidence of abuse, and contact information for follow-up.
SiteHeros may review abuse reports and take action at its discretion, consistent with applicable law, provider rules, and SiteHeros policies.
21. Changes to This Policy
SiteHeros may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Changes may be made to reflect new services, provider requirements, security requirements, legal updates, hosting platform changes, domain provider changes, abuse trends, operational needs, client portal changes, and industry standards.
The updated policy will be posted on the SiteHeros website or otherwise made available.
The โLast Updatedโ date will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.
Continued use of SiteHeros services after updates are posted means you acknowledge the updated policy.
