2. Purpose of This Addendum
The purpose of this addendum is to explain how SiteHeros hosting and domain services operate.
SiteHeros provides managed WordPress hosting and domain-related services through a combination of SiteHeros operations, third-party infrastructure, reseller tools, registrar or registry systems, client portal tools, payment processors, security systems, backup systems, and website management tools.
This addendum helps explain what SiteHeros hosting includes, how domain services are handled, what clients are responsible for, what limitations apply to hosting and domains, how renewals, cancellations, and refunds are treated, and how SiteHeros may respond to abuse, risk, nonpayment, or policy violations.
3. Hosting-First Service Model
SiteHeros services generally begin with SiteHeros hosting and/or domains.
SiteHeros is designed around a hosting-first model so that websites can be supported, managed, monitored, secured, optimized, and maintained more reliably.
Many SiteHeros website services may require the client’s website to be hosted with SiteHeros, including website maintenance, Elite Management, managed website support, website care, performance services, security services, ongoing website management, certain add-on services, and certain design or rebuild services.
SiteHeros may provide free or discounted migrations into SiteHeros hosting where offered, subject to scope limits and technical feasibility.
SiteHeros may decline ongoing management or technical services for websites hosted elsewhere if external hosting prevents reliable support, backup, security, performance, or troubleshooting.
4. Managed WordPress Hosting Services
SiteHeros provides managed WordPress hosting services designed for WordPress websites.
Hosting services may include, depending on the plan:
- WordPress hosting
- High-frequency hosting infrastructure
- Dedicated or resource-isolated hosting resources depending on plan
- WordPress installation
- SSL support
- Backup tools
- Security tools
- Performance tools
- Monitoring tools
- Client portal access
- Hosting dashboard access
- Server location selection where available
- Staging tools where available
- Site migration support where available
- Business Toolkit access where available
- Support according to the selected plan
Hosting features may vary by plan, provider availability, technical configuration, and SiteHeros service package.
SiteHeros may update, replace, add, remove, or change hosting features over time.
5. Hosting Plan Features and Limits
Each hosting plan may have limits or allocations.
These may include:
- Storage
- Bandwidth
- Visits
- CPU
- Memory
- PHP workers
- Object cache
- Database usage
- Backup retention
- Staging availability
- Number of websites
- Support level
- Security features
- Performance features
- Business Toolkit access
- Client portal features
- Server location options
- Add-on availability
Clients are responsible for choosing a hosting plan appropriate for their website.
If a website exceeds plan limits, causes performance problems, creates security risk, or requires more resources, SiteHeros may recommend or require optimization, plugin changes, content cleanup, code cleanup, database cleanup, resource reduction, plan upgrade, service add-on, migration to a different hosting configuration, removal of problematic features, or other corrective action.
6. High-Frequency Hosting Positioning
SiteHeros positions its hosting as premium managed WordPress hosting using high-frequency infrastructure and a managed service model.
Marketing phrases such as “high-frequency,” “premium,” “managed,” “dedicated by default,” “resource-isolated,” “performance-first,” or similar language describe the intended positioning and service architecture.
Actual website performance may depend on many factors outside SiteHeros’ control, including website code, WordPress theme quality, plugin quality, image sizes, database size, external scripts, third-party APIs, ads, tracking scripts, DNS, visitor location, browser behavior, client configuration, ecommerce or membership complexity, traffic spikes, and client content choices.
SiteHeros does not guarantee a specific performance score, Core Web Vitals score, search ranking, conversion rate, sales outcome, or traffic result unless expressly stated in a written agreement.
7. Account Setup and Client Portal Access
SiteHeros may provide clients with access to a client portal, hosting dashboard, billing area, domain area, support area, or website management tools.
Client portal tools may allow clients to view services, manage billing, access hosting tools, manage domains where available, view invoices, update payment methods, request support, access website management features, view plan details, and use tools made available by SiteHeros.
Clients are responsible for securing their account access and ensuring that authorized users follow SiteHeros policies.
SiteHeros may restrict or revoke client portal access if there is suspected compromise, nonpayment, policy violation, abuse, or operational risk.
8. Website Migration and Onboarding
SiteHeros may offer migration services to move eligible WordPress websites into SiteHeros hosting.
Migration scope may vary by plan, offer, or written agreement.
A standard migration may include moving an existing WordPress website from another host to SiteHeros hosting where technically feasible.
Migration may not include, unless expressly stated in writing, website redesign, malware cleanup, complex troubleshooting, SEO recovery, email migration, non-WordPress migration, custom application migration, fixing pre-existing website errors, rebuilding broken code, resolving unsupported plugin conflicts, cleaning abandoned tools, rewriting website copy, or rebuilding content.
SiteHeros may decline or limit migration if the source website is infected, unstable, excessively large, inaccessible, unsupported, unlawful, technically incompatible, or outside the intended service scope.
9. Server Location, Staging, and Technical Configuration
Some hosting plans may allow server location selection, staging environments, PHP version selection, caching controls, SSL configuration, database tools, or other technical options.
Availability of these features may depend on hosting plan, provider capabilities, client portal tools, technical configuration, website requirements, regional availability, security requirements, and platform limitations.
Clients should not change technical settings unless they understand the impact.
Changing PHP versions, cache settings, DNS records, SSL settings, plugins, themes, staging settings, or database settings may affect website functionality.
SiteHeros may adjust technical settings as needed for security, performance, compatibility, stability, or support.
10. Backups, Restores, and Data Responsibility
SiteHeros may provide backup tools and restore options depending on the hosting plan and provider configuration.
Backups may include website files, website databases, configuration data, scheduled backups, manual backups where available, and restore points where available.
Backup availability, frequency, and retention may vary by plan and provider.
No backup system can guarantee complete protection from all data loss.
Clients are responsible for keeping copies of business-critical materials where appropriate, not relying solely on one backup system for mission-critical data, confirming important changes before publishing, avoiding unsafe plugins, scripts, or manual edits, and requesting exports before cancellation where needed.
Backups may be deleted, become unavailable, or expire after cancellation, termination, plan changes, or provider retention limits.
11. Security Tools and Monitoring
SiteHeros may provide security tools and monitoring depending on the plan.
Security services may include malware scanning, vulnerability alerts, login protection, firewall or protection tools where available, security recommendations, update monitoring, backup monitoring, suspicious activity review, and security-related support where included.
No security tool or monitoring system can guarantee complete protection from malware, compromise, downtime, data loss, or unauthorized access.
Clients remain responsible for strong passwords, secure devices, safe administrator access, reviewing user roles, avoiding unsafe plugins and themes, avoiding nulled or pirated software, keeping third-party accounts secure, and following SiteHeros security guidance.
SiteHeros may suspend, quarantine, restrict, or clean a website where security issues create risk.
12. Performance, Caching, and Optimization
SiteHeros may provide performance tools, caching, optimization guidance, and hosting-level performance features depending on the plan.
Performance may be affected by theme quality, plugin quality, page builder complexity, media size, database size, third-party scripts, ads, analytics tools, external APIs, ecommerce functionality, membership functionality, visitor traffic, bot traffic, client changes, DNS and CDN settings, browser differences, and device differences.
SiteHeros may recommend image optimization, plugin reduction, theme changes, cache adjustments, database cleanup, code cleanup, plan upgrade, CDN configuration, script reduction, or design simplification.
Performance optimization work may require a separate service, add-on, higher plan, or Elite Management tier unless included.
13. WordPress, Plugins, Themes, and Website Code
Clients are responsible for ensuring their WordPress sites use safe, lawful, supported, and properly licensed software.
Clients may not use nulled plugins, nulled themes, pirated software, malware, hidden redirects, spam scripts, abusive automation, unsafe custom code, code that violates laws or third-party rights, or code that harms infrastructure or other clients.
SiteHeros may remove, disable, reject, or refuse to support plugins, themes, code, or tools that create security, performance, licensing, compatibility, or provider risk.
WordPress, plugin, theme, and builder updates can sometimes cause conflicts. SiteHeros may troubleshoot according to the selected plan, but complex debugging, custom development, or third-party repairs may require additional billing.
14. Email, DNS, and Third-Party Integrations
SiteHeros may assist with DNS and domain connection where included, but SiteHeros may not provide full email inbox hosting, email migration, email deliverability management, or third-party platform management unless expressly included.
DNS and integration support may involve domain pointing, nameserver changes, A records, CNAME records, MX records, TXT records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SSL validation, Google tools, payment tools, form tools, CRM tools, email marketing tools, booking tools, and ecommerce tools.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving DNS changes.
Incorrect DNS changes can affect website access, email delivery, domain verification, third-party integrations, and service availability.
Third-party tools remain subject to their own terms, policies, pricing, and technical limits.
15. Domain Registration, Renewal, Transfer, and Management
SiteHeros may offer domain registration, renewal, transfer, DNS support, domain connection, and domain management services through third-party registrars, registry providers, reseller platforms, DNS providers, or related domain service providers.
Domain services may include domain search, domain registration, domain renewal, domain transfer, domain connection, DNS configuration support, nameserver setup, domain privacy or protection where available, domain verification support, and renewal reminders where available.
Domain services are subject to registrar, registry, ICANN, DNS provider, reseller, and third-party terms.
SiteHeros does not control all domain rules, registrar decisions, registry decisions, or ICANN-related requirements.
16. Domain Availability and Registration Accuracy
Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration is successfully completed and confirmed by the applicable registrar or registry.
A domain may appear available but become unavailable before registration is completed.
Clients are responsible for reviewing spelling before purchase, confirming the correct domain name, ensuring the domain does not infringe third-party rights, providing accurate registrant information, reviewing domain extension rules, understanding renewal pricing, and understanding any domain-specific restrictions.
SiteHeros is not responsible for client mistakes in domain spelling, name selection, trademark conflicts, business name conflicts, or domain availability changes.
17. Domain Renewals, Expiration, Redemption, and Loss
Clients are responsible for keeping domain billing information current and monitoring renewal dates.
Failure to renew a domain may result in domain expiration, website downtime, email disruption, loss of DNS control, redemption fees, registrar fees, registry fees, permanent loss of the domain, or domain purchase by another party.
Some expired domains may enter a grace period or redemption period, but recovery is not guaranteed.
SiteHeros is not responsible for domains lost due to failed payment, expired payment method, inaccurate contact details, ignored notices, registrar action, registry action, provider action, client inaction, or policy violation.
18. Domain Refunds and Non-Refundable Domain Costs
Domain services are generally non-refundable.
Non-refundable domain-related costs may include domain registrations, domain renewals, domain transfers, domain redemption fees, domain privacy services, domain protection services, registrar fees, registry fees, ICANN-related fees, DNS provider fees, and third-party domain service fees.
Once a domain transaction is submitted to a registrar, registry, reseller, or domain provider, it may not be reversible.
Domain refund questions are governed by the SiteHeros Refund and Cancellation Policy and any applicable provider rules.
19. Domain Contact Information and Verification
Clients are responsible for keeping domain contact information accurate and current.
Domain contact information may include registrant name, business or organization name, email address, phone number, mailing address, administrative contact, technical contact, and billing contact.
Domain providers may send verification emails or notices.
Failure to respond to verification requests may result in domain suspension, service interruption, or other domain issues.
Clients are responsible for monitoring the email address associated with their domain account or domain registration.
20. Registrar, Registry, ICANN, and Provider Rules
Domain services are governed by rules and requirements from multiple parties, which may include registrars, registries, ICANN, reseller platforms, DNS providers, payment processors, domain privacy providers, and applicable laws and regulations.
These rules may affect domain eligibility, registration requirements, renewal rules, transfer rules, redemption periods, contact verification, WHOIS or lookup information, privacy settings, domain suspension, domain cancellation, and domain disputes.
SiteHeros may take action required by registrars, registries, ICANN, providers, legal authorities, or applicable policies.
21. Billing, Renewals, Upgrades, and Downgrades
Hosting and domain services may be billed monthly, annually, one-time, renewal-based, or according to checkout terms.
Clients authorize SiteHeros and its payment processors or billing providers to charge applicable fees for hosting plans, domain registrations, domain renewals, domain transfers, add-ons, upgrades, renewals, taxes, third-party costs, and service changes.
Hosting upgrades may be billed immediately, prorated, or applied according to billing system rules.
Downgrades may take effect at the next billing cycle or another date determined by SiteHeros or the billing system.
Domain renewals may be billed before expiration to help prevent service loss.
Clients are responsible for cancelling before renewal if they do not want a service renewed.
22. Resource Usage and Fair Use
SiteHeros hosting is intended for legitimate WordPress website hosting.
Clients may not use hosting plans for file storage unrelated to website operation, backup storage repositories, pirated media distribution, mass downloads unrelated to website use, proxies, VPN services, cryptocurrency mining, bot operations, scraping operations, spam operations, malware hosting, phishing, resource abuse, or non-website infrastructure abuse.
SiteHeros may require optimization, resource reduction, upgrade, or removal of abusive content if usage exceeds reasonable limits or harms platform stability.
Fair use expectations may apply even where a plan includes generous resources.
23. Prohibited Hosting and Domain Activity
Clients may not use hosting or domain services for prohibited activity.
Prohibited activity includes illegal content, malware, phishing, spam, botnets, credential theft, fraud, impersonation, harassment campaigns, intellectual property infringement, unauthorized scanning, hacking, denial-of-service activity, excessive resource abuse, domain abuse, DNS abuse, typosquatting, deceptive domain use, unlawful regulated activity, provider policy violations, and violations of the SiteHeros Acceptable Use Policy.
SiteHeros may suspend or terminate hosting or domain services if prohibited activity is suspected or confirmed.
24. Suspension, Restriction, or Termination
SiteHeros may suspend, restrict, or terminate hosting or domain services if payment fails, invoices are overdue, the client violates SiteHeros policies, the website creates security risk, the website creates performance risk, the domain is involved in abuse, a provider requires action, a registrar or registry requires action, a legal authority requires action, the site uses excessive resources, the client uses prohibited software, the account appears compromised, the client provides false information, the client misuses support, or continuing service creates legal, operational, provider, security, or reputational risk.
SiteHeros may act without advance notice where immediate action is needed to protect security, infrastructure, providers, other clients, website visitors, or legal compliance.
25. Cancellation, Migration Out, and Data Export
Clients may cancel hosting or domain services according to SiteHeros cancellation procedures and applicable provider rules.
Before cancellation, clients should export or request access to needed website files, website databases, media files, content, DNS records, domain records, backups, invoices, reports, and project materials.
Cancellation of hosting may affect website availability, backups, client portal access, managed tools, SSL, DNS, security tools, performance tools, and Business Toolkit features.
Cancellation of domains may affect domain ownership, website access, DNS, email, and related services.
SiteHeros may provide migration-out assistance as a separate service where available and within scope.
Backups and data may be deleted or become inaccessible after cancellation according to provider rules, retention periods, and SiteHeros procedures.
26. Service Availability and Third-Party Provider Limitations
SiteHeros aims to provide reliable hosting and domain services, but service interruptions may occur.
Availability may be affected by maintenance, provider outages, DNS propagation, registrar issues, registry issues, network issues, security events, software conflicts, plugin conflicts, theme conflicts, client code, client misconfiguration, payment failure, domain expiration, force majeure events, third-party API issues, and internet routing issues.
Third-party providers may change pricing, terms, features, availability, security practices, or service rules.
SiteHeros is not responsible for third-party outages, registrar decisions, registry decisions, ICANN actions, payment processor actions, provider policy changes, or third-party failures outside SiteHeros control.
